Allmond Brothers, Bolero & Spirit Hustler on the Waterfront

Saturday, September 12, 2026 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The grounds and atmosphere at Point San Pablo are stunningly amazing beautiful fantastico!

This is going to be an epic outdoor event right on the Richmond Riviera on the killer new stage built in the meadow grounds surrounded by Burning Man art and sailboats! The Sailing Goat restaurant is right there on the docks, where Jimmy and Josh play regularly.

For this curated festival-style day on the green grounds we’re having our friends join us from San Francisco, Bolero!

And some of the nutsackers are going to support Jimmy and Jules doing their cosmic Americana originals in Spirit Hustler.

Bolero!

San Francisco’s psychedelic Latin blues-rock explorers have quickly carved out a niche in the rock world with their eclectic and spirited brand of “Freak-flag music.” The seven-piece ensemble merges the timeless allure of bolero rhythms with the rebellious psychedelic energy, echoing the legendary vibe of late ’60s and early ’70s Bay Area bands. As regular performers at premier venues like the Chapel, they’ve secured their place as one of the city’s most sought-after acts. They’ve shared stages with iconic acts like Big Brother & The Holding Company and Thee Sacred Souls, proving their ability to hold their own among rock legends.

Bolero! is supporting its stellar second album. Greetings Mother Earth is an unapologetically primal expression of human music. The album unfolds as a guided journey through the spiritual and mortal realms, bridging past, present, and future through dynamic, richly layered compositions. Songs are both innovative and nostalgic, offering a fresh take on classic influences.

Bolero! is more than a band, they are musical experience. They invite their audience to let loose, embrace the eclectic, and join them in a celebration of music that stands out as much for its diversity as for its compelling energy. Bolero! ensures that the spirit of San Francisco’s historic rock scene continues to thrive, driven by their innovative sound and passionate performances that are not just heard but felt—a true symphony of the senses.

Spirit Hustler

Spirit Hustler is modern classic rock from the Bay Area born of an acoustic heart and layered with cosmic electricity. Its self-titled debut put a fresh spin on the traditional album, a Theatre of the Mind experience in two acts. Imaginative songs are like mini movies inspired by actual experiences and rendered into animated audio art. Spirit Hustler’s new material is a musical journey to Yosemite. It’s a distinctly Californian take on Americana, or “Cali-Cana” in shorthand.

Spirit Hustler is spearheaded by Jimmy Leslie, whose new gig as Martin Guitar’s official podcast host has got him going way down the acoustic guitar soundhole. Spirit Hustler showcases his “freehand” percussive fingerstyle and soaring tenor vocals.

Jimmy has interviewed everyone from Molly Tuttle to Eric Johnson, and coordinated events ranging from Paco de Lucia to Buddy Guy. Leslie co-founded the Guitarfish and Star City Music Festivals, and his recordings feature notable players including Jason Crosby, James Nash and Eric McFadden.

Spirit Hustler at Point San Pablo Harbor features Jules Leyhe on slide, Allison Irvine (Oakadelic) on violin and vocals, former Bass Player Magazine Editor Brian Fox, and Eric Wood (Forejour) on drums and vocals.
